The Simonini Victor 2 Super is a high-performance, bolt-on replacement for the ROTAX 582. Weighing approximately the same, at 115 pounds in flying configuration, it produces an impressive 110 horsepower at 6,200 rpm! Its reed valve induction improves fuel efficiency, at a manufacturer-rated 4.25 gallons per hour at 5,400 rpm.

It comes complete with Dellorto 38mm carburetors, air filters, fuel pump, thermostat, your choice of exhaust system, electric starter, starter relay, voltage regulator, and a reduction gearbox, type “C”, with a wide range of ratios.

Exhaust option A67 is twin tuned pipes, which pass under the engine.

Exhaust options A68 and A69 are similarly styled, lightweight (almost 9 pounds lighter than the twin pipes) and compact single exhaust, ideally suited for pusher configuration.A68 muffler is above the cylinder head, and A69 mounts the muffler below the crankcase, if the engine is mounted heads up. Engines can be mounted inverted, if desired. All single exhaust options cost an additional $250.

You may find that any given exhaust system needs to be modified to suit your particular application.  In any case, it is extremely important to maintain the integrity of the exhaust design length and overall dimensions. The Simonini type C gearbox is also available separately, with additional gearing options of 2:1 for four-stroke engines, and 1.6:1 for diesel engines. Rated for up to 150 hp.
