Hi, welcome to Straight-Aero.com.
Straight Aero began with the simple concept of keeping flying fun, affordable, and accessible to ordinary people.
I fly an Experimental, Amateur-Built Kitfox. If you fly one of these, or any similar aircraft, you know the joy of flying such a machine. It is simple, lightweight, and easy to maintain. Best of all, it's fun.
With the original ROTAX 503 out of production for many years, and the 582 more recently discontinued, I searched for a suitable replacement engine. Heavier, more expensive four-strokes dominate the market. Finally, I found what I was looking for, in the Simonini Victor series engines.
Manufactured in Italy, Simonini's lightweight and powerful two-stroke engines are simple and reliable, with a power-to-weight ratio that is hard to beat.
Our business was started in late 2024, to bring Simonini Flying engines to customers in the United States. Our goal is to provide our customers with good products and support. The horsepower you want, at a price you can afford.
We are working to keep a wide variety of engines and parts in stock, so your purchase ships as soon as possible.

Welcome to our website! We hope you like it. If there's anything we can do to serve you better, please let us know. This has been a great adventure, and it's about to get better, a whole lot better. With lots of effort, all the little pieces are coming into place.
We are an authorized distributor of Simonini engines. Our orders are shipped directly to us, from the factory. We order as much as possible in a single shipment, to keep our shipping costs low, along with our prices.
It is our intention to keep plenty of inventory in stock, so that your order can ship immediately. That is what we're working on, as we bring our dream to reality. Of course, along with great products, come a lot of options. When you order an engine that is not currently in stock, payment is submitted to the factory, and your order is added to their manufacturing queue. We quote that time as being 90 days, to be on the safe side, to allow time for the international wire transfer payment to clear the banks, time for the manufacturing, international shipping, customs clearance, and final shipping to the customer. While it is possible, or even likely, that your order will be manufactured and shipped before that time, you should understand that the process could take as long as 90 days.
